Jurassic World is due for release on June 11th - and we cannot wait!!
The plot for the new movie centres around Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, which is now a dinosaur theme park, with exhibits, attractions, rides, visitors... and DINOSAURS.
But.. like a lot of theme parks, they struggle to maintain their visitor numbers, and need a new attraction to bring back the crowds.. enter Indominus Rex a very intelligent animal that eats / kills anything that moves. So what happens when she breaks free from her compound and gets amongst the general population?
The new Jurassic World website is pretty cool, set to look like a real theme parks website, it gives wait times, attraction and show times, and of course the all important theme park map. - You can look at booking advance tickets, differnet packages for their theme park... but of course none of them mention the escaping Dinosaur..
Taken from the Jurassic World Website, “We set out to make Indominus the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World. The genetic engineers at our Hammond Creation Lab have more than delivered. At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T. Rex. But its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus’ horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Gigantosaurus. Fearsome indeed.
Indominus’ roar is estimated to reach 140-160db—the same as a 747 taking off and landing. And it can reach speeds of 30 mph…while confined to its enclosure. Come experience Indominus Rex for yourself beginning this summer. If you dare.”
One week and counting...
