March 19th 2015 - National Let's Have a laugh Day
From Wikipedia: - laughing is Laughter is a physical reaction in humans and some species of primate, consisting typically of rhythmical, often audible contractions of the diaphragm and other parts of the respiratory system..
In simple terms,.. Laughing is.. really good fun, it can be spontaneous, after witnessing something funny or unintentional (how many clips from You've Been Framed have we laughed at).. it could be as part of a group when someone tells a joke or a tale that makes us laugh.
Dr. Seuss is quoted as : From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere
Children love to make adults laugh, (I have lost count of the number of times my children have tried to recite a joke at the table only to collapse into fits of giggles before they can get to the punch line, leaving us laughing not at the joke, but at their laughter and inability to control their giggling)
Some people laughter makes other people laugh, its infectious, catching, and can lift the mood of a room very easily, it crosses boundaries, no-one is excluded (unless you miss the joke of course),
It is commonly written that it takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile .. so smiling is easier than frowning... go on give it a try, .. tell a joke, wear a funny hat, raise a smile that turns into a big belly laugh
