Postal Deliveries may be delayed due to Flood Waters
The latest information from Royal Mail is showing:
A number of roads remain impassable in some parts of Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland many properties are inaccessible due to the recent extreme weather and flooding.
These include parts of the town of Dumfries, other parts of Dumfries & Galloway, in North East Scotland, York, Hebden Bridge, Leeds and Tadcaster. We’ll be out delivering and collecting mail in all parts today, where access is possible and it’s safe for our people to perform them.
Due to the recent flooding in parts of Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria - some postal deliveries may be delayed. We are waiting for the Royal Mail Service update to give more detials of affected postcode and contingency plans - as soon as we get them, we will update this.
